If the owner is not there, how he is gonna controle the business? No offense to Mark because I love his content, video's etc. but like that you will never have quality control. You need to be around your business at least for 6 months to a year to make sure everything runs correctly unless you have spot on management.

Nice video Rob, I stay there a couple times very close about 10 min walk to Mark Wiens Restaurant Phed Mark but never been there to much hyped. I eat a lot of Pad Kaprao and somewhere very good and also quite spicy. I know Mark Wiens channel for many years before he was so famous. In the beginning I liked it when he enjoyed the food a lot and closed his eyes and make that sound hmmmmm and say wowww but later it became more and more a gimmick of him every time he do this now everywhere he comes for a few years. He get the best of the best because they know it's very good advertisement. I think if you eat the same dish it would not be the same quality as he get it. One thing I also find very funny that people say this dish is the best in Bangkok, but then I ask myself did you try this dish in every place in Bangkok probably not you better say one of the best. I eat many chicken noodle soup over the years and some are just average and some are really really good.

Over priced, over rated. Probably the worst I've had in Bkk.

I have avoided the main restaurant cause each time I go its a madhouse. Thanks for showing 2nd location

the best pad kaprow .. is under the bridge from the old lady located at the "pink park" .. go there.. and walk next to the skate park and you will see the lady with her husband.. 80bhat and its bettter than marks spot

you can get a much better Pad Kaprow across the road for just 60THB and not have to wait like a lemming.

Im doing all the chilli's . 4 weeks to go, cant wait. I didn't know the little store takeaway was so close, Might do a grab and eat mine in hotel aircon room, not on the streets lol.

Maybe it's because of the wagyu, but, I'm very surprise that the Thais would actually pay B280+ for Pad Kaprao. The eggs were definitely well done though
